Why Jupiter Is Florida's
Snook Capital
Jupiter's fishery is special because everything a snook needs is packed into a few miles of water. Strong tidal flow through the inlet delivers bait year-round. The mangrove creeks and flats of the Loxahatchee give juvenile and slot-sized fish endless ambush points. And when the spring and summer spawn kicks off, big breeder linesiders stack up around the inlet, bridges, and beaches in numbers that turn first-timers into lifelong snook addicts.
Whether you want to skip live baits under docks, work the mangroves on artificials, or sight-fish gin-clear water for a 40-inch-plus giant, Captain Mateo will put you in position and coach you through every cast.

Your Captain: Mateo Burrell
Captain Mateo Burrell caught his first snapper off a Florida Keys dock at three years old and landed his first snook and tarpon by five. Decades later, that obsession hasn't faded — it's just gotten more refined. Featured in Saltwater Sportsman and followed by thousands of anglers on social media (@mbsnookin), Capt. Mateo has built his reputation on one thing: consistently finding big snook and teaching anglers of every skill level how to catch them.
New to snook fishing? Perfect. Capt. Mateo loves coaching newer anglers, and his patient, hands-on style means you'll leave the boat a better fisherman than when you stepped on it.

The Boat & The Experience
You’ll fish aboard a 22' Pathfinder powered by a 200HP Suzuki — a fast, smooth, and versatile fishing machine built for exploring Florida’s inshore waters.
With plenty of casting space, comfortable deck room, Garmin electronics, and GPS Spot-Lock positioning, the boat is fully equipped to keep us on the fish whether we’re working shallow flats, mangrove shorelines, backcountry waters, or deeper channels.
The Pathfinder’s combination of speed, stability, and shallow-water capability makes it an ideal platform for targeting everything from snook and redfish to tarpon and other inshore favorites. Modern navigation and fishing technology help us spend less time searching and more time fishing.
Every charter is 100% private — just you, your crew, and the captain. Rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are all taken care of. Just bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, drinks, and a camera — we’ll handle the rest and make sure you have an unforgettable day on the water.
